Peter Bloomfield is on tour in Europe and attending the "Live Design with Advanced Road Design and Civil 3D" conference being held in Bucharest on the 30th October.
Advanced Road Design with Civil 3D is extensively used in Romania for highway design as a replacement for MX.

Advanced Road Design

Advanced Road Design Conference 2008 - ROMANIA
 
Following the success of the 2007 Advanced Road Design Conference hosted by MAXCAD International in Bucharest Romania, Dr Peter Boomfield will open the 2008 Conference on Tuesday 23rd September. The Conference show cases many road design projects undertaken by local and international engineering companies using Civil 3D and Advanced Road Design.

Road Development Authority of Sri Lanka visits Melbourne
The Road Development Authority of Sri Lanka use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Advanced Road Design for highway design and reconstruction.
A team of three designers - Mr L.V.S. Weerakoon, Ms Agantha Kumari and Ms Begam Haseeba and Autodesk and CADApps Channel Partner Open Systems' Mr Sampath Ekanayake are spending a week at CADApps Melbourne Training Centre working with the CADApps Technical Team on a major design project.

Road Reconstruction Design Tour of Australia and New Zealand
 During April, the CADApps Technical Team traveled over 16,000 kilometres to present Civil 3D and Advanced Road Design to over 200 civil engineers and designers in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
